I don’t how you guys feel in this topic but I want to talk about it. I was scrolling in tiktok when I came across some public drama where a male celebrity was getting cancelled because of a comment that he did.

He said that he wouldn’t date an actress because of her ideology. Which is totally understandable, but, the thing is that this actress is very open to talking about the importance of feminism, which I totally respect. The thing is that this streamer called her “crazy” and that it wasn’t worth dating her because of her crazyness, that it was better to date a 6 who was better silent.

That left me speechless not going to lie. Its crazy how a man feels confident enough to say that type of misogynistic comments without any remorse. When he was eventually called out by a lot of women influencers, he changed his argument to only the fact that he wouldn’t date the actress because of her ideology but also saying he was defending critical thinking and free speech for women.

Also, I think is needed to say that this male streamer has been called out multiple times for his egocentric and misogynistic comments before.

After debating it with my friends and watching the other women’s responses to his claims, I think it’s very important to highlight the need for feminism that we need this decade.

I cannot believe that these men feel comfortable enough to spread these type of messages to their audiences, which I think it’s very dangerous. Because I don’t know about you loves, but, saying these type of “hot takes” to an audience that is sustained by teens and preteens from ages 11-15 max. is not it. We are seriously devolving.

What the problem is that, what these teens interpret is that a woman who has critical thinking and defends her rights and the feminist cause is a crazy woman that should be left alone. And these teens are the ones who will become adults in the future and make big decisions. You see now why this is a big problem?

As a matter of fact, he responded to some of the woman and he claimed that “they see misogyny in everything I do and other men do, and that’s why people are fed up with feminism”. I think this claim demonstrates that this man and other men won’t take accountability on what they say. People are not calling out that you won’t date other women because of their ideology, people are calling out that you called her crazy for her ideology. Also, if you are a controversial figure and you get called out many times, maybe it is for a reason.

I don’t know loves, I’m very scared of what the society is going. I think people should have a bit more empathy because we are approaching dark times. With more people (even some women which is crazy to me) finding feminism stupid and some parties and speeches getting apraised it’s just sad to me.

Also, I find this interesting. What is the big fast-food chain that is collaborating with this male streamer gonna do after this has came out? Because he with 3 more influencers are the face of the big campaign that their doing. And, also, what is his girlfriend (believe it or not he has a girlfriend) after he said that he prefers dating the 6 because the 6 is better silent? Very funny to me.
